ANOTHER LAUGH
“Another Laugh” (B.D. 1997) Dark Brown / Black gelding , stands ~ 16 h.h. Laugh is a mature gentleman who spent a good part of his life as a successful harness race horse. Although he has spent some time under saddle, he would do best with some refresher lessons as he had not been consistently ridden in some time. Exceptionally good manners and willing to learn, Laugh would do best with an experienced handler to guide him properly in training. He has the temperament and easy going nature that could see him being used for a novice rider once he has the proper skills in place. He does naturally trot and could also be pleasure driven if one chose to work with him in those pursuits. Laugh is a strong bodied fellow with a very soft heart looking for companionship and a steady job. He is currently living in Okotoks , AB. but his family is moving to Manitoba and they can’t take him with them, so he needs to relocate soon to a suitable home. Price negotiable to the right home.

“MJJZ Personality” aka “P.J.” (B.D. 2003) Dark Brown/ Black mare, stands ~ 15.3 h.h. P.J. Is a solid girl with an affectionate nature when she is handled with trust and respect , but can be timid in certain situations. She trained to drive for harness racing , however, she was not capable of competing in the sport and her career path changed. Although she has been living the life of leisure for the past 4 yrs. she is a horse that would like to work and be doing something. She has not yet been started under saddle , however, she is a quick learner and has been handled enough for routine work to maintain her manners. This lovely girl deserves a chance to show her talents and learn with an experienced and appreciative handler. Owners are moving to Manitoba and don’t have time to commit to her . She is currently located in Okotoks, AB. Price negotiable to suitable home.

NORTHERN DOLL
“Northern Doll” (B.D. 2001) aka “Dolly”, ~ 15.2 h.h. Dark brown/black mare. Dolly is just as her name suggests, a doll! Never having raced or trained due to a conformational issue, Dolly was a stay at home mom earlier on in life. She is a great pasture mate , gets along equally well with mares or geldings and is a generally sweet girl to have around. She is suitable as a companion , baby sitter, or lawn ornament, however, she has been put into duty a time or two , giving pony rides to young children. Dolly has generally nice manners and is quiet and trusting. A forever home is hoped for where she can be treated and loved as a member of the family. If you can seriously provide this type of home for her she would appreciate it. Currently residing in Okotoks, but due to her family moving out of province she needs to find a suitable family soon!

“ Streak N Win” (B.D. 2007) Dark Bay mare, stands ~ 15 h.h. Streak recently retired from racing and is quite willing to start a new job! A stocky built girl with feminine features , she is mannerly , kind , and easy to handle. PROMISED JOURNEY
“Promised Journey” (B.D. 2006) ~ 15.1 h.h.. P.J. Is a beauty, lovely markings, nice conformation and a good mind. This lady is of the Quarter horse type build, not always easy to find in the Standardbred world. Trained to drive, she never raced , but is sound and willing to go in other directions. A skilled and respectful handler would do best with P.J.’s somewhat sensitive nature. She is lovely to drive, but not yet started under saddle . P.J. Is eagerly looking for a new job where she can stay active and learn .

ABAY
“Abay” is an eight y.o. standardbred X quarter horse mare. She stands 15.2 h.h. and has had two months of professional training under saddle. Abay lives on a farm and is comfortable with cattle, donkeys and dogs. She has been ridden both in arenas and on trails and is easy to load into a trailer. Abay has a large frame and is inclined to put on weight if not carefully fed. BATTLE RIVER BELLE
“Battle River Belle”, BD. 2007, Bay mare , 15 h.h. Belle is a lovely young girl who’s future she’s decided is not in racing. Although she qualified to race, she really doesn’t desire to move that quickly! Belle is well mannered and sound with no past injuries or ailments. Nice to drive and handle, Belle is at a good stage to move on to work under saddle or continue her schooling for pleasure driving either recreationally or competitively.
