PayDay Tuwin
“Payday Tuwin” aka “Cassy”, trained in harness /unraced.
This beautiful, charismatic little mare is 4 this year and has been ridden lightly on and off since last summer. She is just shy of 14.2 hands and has a heart of gold. We purchased Cassiopeia (Cassy) last summer, simply because she was so cute and well mannered.I was told that she has been trained to drive but I have never hooked her up to a cart myself (I'm not experienced in driving). She is doing very well under saddle at a walk and trot but due to her young age and her small size (and my not so small size) I didn't want to push her training any further. Cassy has a HUGE trot and can keep up easily with any big horse! At only 4 years old she shows incredible potential to become a kid’s horse as she is very laid back (but not lazy) and loves to be fussed over. She stands tied for hours and can be brushed, braided, clipped and hosed off, trimmed, wormed, vaccinated, tacked up and loaded in any kind of trailer with no issues at all.She is not bossy around other horses, can be caught in a huge field and is not 'marish'. She is very calm out on the trail and has been ridden in an indoor arena as well and I have taken her to a horsemanship clinic last year where she was as calm as they come... and most important of all, she is NOT herd bound!
This pretty girl would be best suited with someone who has the time now to put some miles on her this year and then let the kids have fun with her for many years to come!1500$ Possibly negotiable to suitable home. Please call 403-546-2009 on Weekends as we do not have Internet access at home.We are located in between Crossfield and Acme, approx. 30 min. NE of Airdrie |

KG POM POM
KG Pom Pom (Winstreak Hanover X Pom Pom Hanover ) - B.D. 2006, Solid (no white) dark bay (looks black) mare standing just over 15 h.h. This lovely lady’s racing career has not been as fortunate as her owner’s wished for her, however, she is still in training and in beautiful condition. Pom Pom does seem to portray the character her name suggests as that of a “Diva” , but she is more than capable in an athletic capacity! An experienced horse person who would be able to manage her outspoken personality and challenge her abilities in other pursuits would no doubt be rewarded . She has a ground covering trot with nice suspension and handles well on the ground and being driven. Pom Pom has no soundness issues and is ready for new adventures perhaps as a CDE competitor or even under saddle in a discipline suiting her “star quality”. A quality home with an experienced , caring caretaker/owner is a priority for the current owner. Priced reasonably to the right home, serious enquires only please. For further info. please contact Marg at (204) - 661-0012 or margarethomenuik@shaw.ca
