Foster a Placement Horse

Would you like to help an equine in need by providing a place in your pasture and in your heart? Performance Standardbreds often require temorary  foster homes to house and handle our retired athletes while they are in our program.
It is always rewarding to see a horse have the opportunity to take on a new career and life after racing. We evaluate each horse individually before placing, some need more rest than others which would determine the length of fostering required. If you think you would be interested in supporting our Placement Program by fostering a horse, please contact Kathy to receive an application form or if you would like us to provide you with more information.

Donations

Donations can come in many sizes and shapes! Since we are a non- profit organization we rely on fundraising and donations throughout the year to continue with our Placement Program. Each year we face new challenges and discover there are a lot more horses that are in need of finding a home after their racing careers. If you would like to help us promote the Standardbred in a new light by supporting  a retired harness race horse by volunteering your time, services or making a donation to our program please contact Kathy or simply make a dontation on-line.

Become a Member

Becoming a Performance Standardbred Member is an opportunity to support the Standardbred breed in a new light, that allows us to continue our success in our Placement Program. Your membership provides valuable support to our retired harness race horses while they await placement.

Membership also provides support and encouragement from others who are Standardbred owners.  Clinics to develop better skills and knowledge particular to the breed, shows, promotional and social events, as well as  friendships are just a few added bonuses.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a huge part of Performance Standardbreds. Whether you are able to assist with our Placement Program, volunteer at events/clinics or helping out with our day-to-day needs, we appreciate the enthusiasm and committment it takes. As a non profit organization we are always excited to invite new members and volunteers to participate in our mission which is to ensure today's future for all our retired Standardbred althletes.
