Keystone Tiffany

B.D. 2013 , ~ 15.1 h.h. Mare

This lovely mare has been through some extensive training for a new career primarily as a driving horse. Tiffany raced early in her career and eventually earned the role as a valued broodmare for several years. Unfortunately, after a difficult birth she was unable to continue in this role and was purchased by our program to find a new career.

Tiffany was brought back into work and has always been a willing and good student. She is easy to catch, has wonderful manners, and has a personable nature.  As she was being schooled with the intent for her to be ridden it became obvious that she was not comfortable.  Given her past medical history we opted to pursue a physical cause and upon scoping and manual exam she was found to have significant scarring internally.  Although we could have tried to continue we chose to find her a more comfortable role and driving it is!

She has been driven regularly on a once to twice weekly schedule (indoors so far) for about the last 8 months (~ since Nov.2025) and she really enjoys the job.  Tiffany is a more forward , sensitive type and prefers a softer feel so she would be more suited to an experienced driver. Tiffany learns quickly and has been worked in hand, long lines, and lunged on her non driving days .  She is progressing in maintaining a steady rhythm with better balance and with continued work towards more suppleness she will continue to improve. Additionally, she has been introduced to clicker training , been worked regularly in equibands ( for core development)and has had regular bodywork and a stretching routine post work.

Tiffany is UTD on deworming, dental and farrier care as well as vaccinations ( 3Way + WNV)

If you are looking for a reliable, bold, and kind horse , Tiffany is well worth a look.  Due to her physical history, she is being offered as a driving horse only with a strict condition that she can NEVER be bred.

Her current boarding arrangements will be changing in mid July and as such the option to drive her in an indoor arena will not be available or limited, however, she will be driven outdoors .

She is located just west of Calgary . For further info. please contact Kathy @ 403-519-6698 or sunbergk@gmail.com

Asking $3500
